Fruït del Col·lapse de Junco y Mimbre

Faithful to their artistic values, the eleven tracks that make up “Fruit del Col·lapse” continue to have a sharpened poetics that questions the society in which we live, in “Perdre’m_Io”, and an aggressive work world, in “mai no tinguis pressa”, as in all claims of this generation, while finding spaces for intimate moments such as “Em converteixo en tu”, and “DIES & HORES”, or to not forget some elegantly dark, vital and decadent lyrics which have become their signature. Sonically, they continue with their blend of pure and crystalline moments with unleashed aggressiveness, which fit into this struggle of opposites and give rise to sublime contrasts. In addition, in this work and as a result of the production from the beginning, the importance of electronics and digital tools plays a very important role, although it is not noticeable at first listen, making us see that there is something beyond this palpable evolution they show us. “Fruit del Col·lapse” closes the three years of existence of Junco y Mimbre and bids them farewell from the scene but not from our ears, and the existence of this final work culminates an intense but ephemeral life in which the five from Osona have claimed their place within the music scene with no other intention than to share what they were doing locally, and who knows if it is there where the ideas with which they leave will now remain.
