Todos Mis Novios

Yudi Saint X is synonymous to an elastic musical universe, with a fictitious and unreal color palette and round figures, which form, warp and bounce back and forth inside your brain, until they explode and impregnate everything with glitter jelly. First she conquered us with Selva, debut EP in which Yudi Saint X already proved she wasn’t from this planet, that she was about dimensions that we didn’t even know existed. Now, with Todos mis Novios, her debut LP, she has broken all our plans. Musically, it’s pop, but with an immensity of references and styles that Yudi Saint X uses and mixes at her own will to create songs that can hardly be classified. And it is precisely within this cocktail, where the magic arises. Think of PinkPantheress, Clairo, Lara91k, and podcasts with your best friend: it sounds like exactly what confessional pop should sound like in 2022. Yudi Saint X surrounds herself with electronic elements to music all her thoughts, rushing uncontrollably from mind to paper, like a waterfall in the form of verses, rhymes and phrases, sometimes related, sometimes not. A Tik Tok dialogue through Instagram dms. A torrent of emotions, complaints, judgments and regrets packed with a bow of sweet sincerity. Love, pain and hate in equal parts. In Todos mis Novios, Yudi Saint X puts herself on the spot as she makes us dance possessed by lunatic rhythms.
If in Selva she was able to work with Sr.Chen and with Lildami, in Todos mis Novios he has surrounded himself with the electronic duo b1n0 and Ferran Palau. An insane production, with sounds that twist in and out, surround you and shake you up. A fearless mixture without no complexes. A club to which you belong or to which you do not. We are already honorary members. Are you?
